JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery of Quanergy’s advanced 3D LiDAR sensors and perception software solutions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities in order to ensure program goals are accomplished within defined scope, time, quality and cost constraints.
  • Coordinates activities between HW engineering, SW engineering, QA, manufacturing, product management and beta customers.
  • As the primary beta customer interface, maintains customer focus and manages the customer interaction throughout the program life cycle.
  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required tasks, based on planned resources and resource allocations.
  • Proactively resolves and/or escalates risks and issues, tightly managing program dependencies and resource conflicts.
  • Constructively challenges assumptions and proposes more efficient solutions, in order to meet/exceed program goals.
  • Coordinates and facilitates formal Gate reviews and on-going project communication to all stakeholders and participants.
  • Ensures technical and program documentation is created and up to date.
  • Manages document control in Arena PLM.
  • Conducts technical and product presentations to customers.
  • Input into the development of test plans and directs quality assurance testing activities.
  • Coordinates the deployment of new or modified business tools and processes to increase team productivity and program efficacy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of engineering program management experience required

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

  • Master’s degree a plus

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of hardware and software development practices.
  • Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to get things done, with a track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Excellent project management skills with an attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to operate in high pressure situations and successfully handle multiple competing priorities while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.
  • Experience with complex systems such as networking, IoT, ML/AI applications, and complex application integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with agile and other project management methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge and skill in the use of project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.
  • PMP or equivalent qualification.
