POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director, Business Analysis will be responsible to help drive Quanergy’s go to market improvement by measuring the performance of and suggesting improvements to the company’s product strategy, and sales and channels functions. Under minimal supervision of their direct manager, the analyst will create and monitor key business metrics providing insight for the creation and execution of various go to market initiatives as well as perform adhoc analysis and research. The analyst will be responsible for helping maintain data quality of salesforce pipeline information, working closely with the CRO and regional sales heads. In addition, the analyst will help the finance team maintain their top-down TAM projections. They will need to work cross-functionally with all departments to gather data, interpret information and report across disparate systems and tools to provide a clear picture on where the company stands and identify areas for improvement.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate business objectives, define project objectives and develop project plans for implementation and operation of cross channel analytics
- Deliver analysis, insights, and recommendations to support enhancements of Quanergy’s sales and marketing programs, and the effectiveness of outbound sales channels
- Create, maintain, and propagate custom and recurring analytics reports delivering insights on market segments, product, sales and channel performance
- Produce and maintain various reports that track Quanergy’s progress and trends in regard to sales and marketing results, special projects/programs
- Evaluate monthly, quarterly and annual results to identify variances, trends as well as key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate the findings to management
- Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and PowerPoint presentation for senior management
- Conduct weekly quality reviews of forecasted pipeline data, and work with regional sales heads and CRO on any remediation required to maximize quality of the reports
- Work with various internal owners and third parties (such as industry analysts) to research, understand and educate our team around trends in the market
- Work with the finance team to update, maintain, and build on top-down TAM models for our various segments of coverage, leveraging external purchased data as well as internal analysis
- Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive analysis inclusive of financial performance, valuations, pricing, go to market, product offering, etc.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of data/information sources, as well as drive implementation with IT
- Conduct ad hoc research projects incorporating summarizing findings and presenting results
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge data analysis, modeling and forecasting techniques
- Advanced understanding of data analysis and spreadsheet modeling
- Advanced understanding of data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of statistical learning techniques including decision trees, bagging, boosting and support vector machines
- In depth knowledge of SalesForce.com, HubSpot and other sales, CRM and marketing applications.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, inclusive of Pivot Tables
- Must be proficient in other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint.

- 5-10 years in a business analyst role required, 3+ years in a senior or director-level business analyst role
