JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Candidate chosen will be responsible for all aspects of quality, quality systems and certifications, and developing a strong quality culture. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Quality department, Quality Management System (QMS), and quality assurance disciplines and culture throughout the company.
  • Manage the QMS to ensure compliance to ISO9001, IATF 16949 and other supporting standards
  • Partner with Program Managers and TTM project teams in the planning, execution, and flow down of all customer specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Lead Customer and supplier quality initiatives with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Improve customer experience by eliminating/reducing field related failures.
  • Improve capabilities and drive growth of the team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years leadership experience leading and developing quality organizations.
  • Proven track record developing a quality culture and mindset.
  • Hands on experience working with and implementing quality systems (i.e. ISO9000, IATF16949, AEC-Q100, ISO26262).
  • Applicable experience in a technical field. Proven track record of developing teams and effectively working in a cross functional environment.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Minimum BS degree or equivalent education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Full understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality system standards is essential.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent human relations skills are needed to influence, lead, and motivate at all levels
    in the organization.
  • Technical literacy, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • In depth knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge towards the interpretation of customer requirements.
  • General knowledge of statistics and statistical process control.
  • Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and standards.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement initiatives such as 6S, Standardized Work, Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, and Poke-Yoke.
  • Capable of developing and executing effective plans; identifying obstacles and countermeasures as well as communicating effectively to achieve individual and group goals.
  • Proficient and structured problem solving such as 8-D / 5-Why and effectively leading others in root cause and corrective/preventative action analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six Sigma Blackbelt preferred.
  • Attention to details and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
