Quanergy is building several complex cross-platform software solutions based on processing our LiDAR sensor data. As a member of our software quality assurance team, we're looking for someone who can work under minimal supervision, define test procedures and collaborate closely with developers, designers, customer support, and engineering leadership.   • Defining, planning, developing and executing test plans that assure product feature functionality and reliability and meets expectations for our various product lines
  • Understand high-level requirements in the S/W Product Requirements Documents and the details of the required features specified in Jira
  • Collaborate with the S/W R&D group to ensure that the requirements for features are defined clearly
  • Work with other S/W QA Engineers in QA processes, product requirements and formulation of test cases etc.
  • Full lifecycle QA experience – in this role you will design both manual and automated test cases, execute tests, analyze the results, report and track defects, and ultimately make the decision on test completion
  • Always look for ways to improve current QA processes to ensure effective time management and best product quality

Education Required: 

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


  • 5+ years of experience with Software Quality Assurance, software development, testing and test automation experience
  • Strong understanding of QA Process & Methodologies in relation to testing embedded systems
  • Should be able to use a programming language to write basic scripts. (eg sending API requests, automating everyday tasks)
  • A solid background in software quality assurance testing, including the ability to integrate QA into projects from the design and planning phase
  • Experience testing real-time embedded software/firmware, preferably using Linux
  • A deadline driven approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent organization, writing, communication and interpersonal skills, and high self-motivation
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols TCP/HTTP/UDP/IP networking
  • Ability to innovate and adapt based on team needs
  • Strong motivated team player with curiosity, desire to learn, and ability to dig in to existing systems/processes and figure them out
  • Experience with configuration management tool like BitBucket/Git, agile project management tool like JIRA and CI/CD tools like Jenkins


  • Familiarity with sensors such as Radar, LiDAR, GPS, etc.
  • Experience with Python testing frameworks (Selenium, unit test, pytest, nose, etc.) and automation tools for both front end and APIs
  • Experience with Continuous Integration CI concepts, and use of CI tools (Jenkins, etc.) as a platform for executing and reporting on automation
  • Experience with GRPC API
  • Experience on Squish(FROGLOGIC)Automation tool preferred 
  • Knowledge of BDD/TDD framework
  • Experience with containers(Dockers/Kubernetes)
