Gerald Becker
Gerald Becker is a highly accomplished and visionary leader in the physical security industry, with over 21 years of experience. Currently serving as the Vice President of Market Development and Alliances at Quanergy, Gerald brings a wealth of expertise and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and growth.
With senior positions at SAFR by RealNetworks, N3N (a Cisco-backed startup), and a leading national systems integrations firm, Gerald has consistently made significant contributions to the industry. His deep understanding of emerging technologies and market dynamics has allowed him to successfully develop and implement cutting-edge security solutions.
Gerald’s academic background includes an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Redlands and a B.S. in Technical Management from DeVry University, providing him with a strong foundation in both business strategy and technical expertise.
As an industry thought leader and technology evangelist, Gerald is known for his ability to identify emerging trends, forge strategic alliances, and translate them into actionable strategies. He actively participates in industry associations, conferences, and panels to share his insights and contribute to the advancement of physical security practices.

Ronita Oto
Ronita Oto is a financial professional with a wealth of experience in finance and a passion for helping companies towards financial success. She brings years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning. She has worked with established companies and start-ups, helping them navigate financial challenges and achieve their goals.
Previously, she has held roles such as Assistant Controller at Home 365, and Sr Finance and Accounting Manager at Aisera. Her educational journey includes an MBA in Accounting and Financial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, graduating with honors.
As a Director of finance here at Quanergy her primary goal is to ensure the financial stability and growth of the company. She will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic financial plans and identify areas of improvement.

John Moran
John Moran joins Quanergy Solutions as the Vice President of Operations. John Moran is a highly experienced executive leader in the fields of Engineering & New Product Engineering (NPI) Management, Business Operations, Shared and Central Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
Prior to joining the Quanergy Executive Leadership Team he held multiple executive leadership roles at Cisco, leading engineering operations, program management, quality, escalations, customer satisfaction, supply continuity, value engineering, and product realization.
John oversaw operations for Cisco’s entire Core networking equipment portfolio spanning Data Center, Cloud Networking, Wireless, Service Provider routing, access and optical, as well as Enterprise routing and switching, IoT, and Small Business. He also served on Cisco’s Emerging Talent Council, Contingent Labor Council, Values Engineering Board, and Mercer University’s National Engineering Advisory Board, while also serving as Cisco’s Executive Champion for inclusion and diversity, emerging talent, quality, and value engineering.
He is also the founder of Cisco’s first ever Global Designer’s Conference: Develop@Cisco. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercer University, where upon graduation he was commissioned as a US Army Aviation Officer and attended US Aviation Flight school. Upon graduation, John was assigned to his first of many operational assignments for the Army. John has been deployed for three combat tours and received numerous military awards and commendations.
John also has certification as: Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Program Manager Professional, Master Lean Six Sigma, Combined Logistics Advance Course (US Army).
Prior to advising Quanergy, John held multiple executive leadership roles at Cisco, where he led global operations across engineering program management, quality, customer satisfaction, escalations, and value engineering. He was responsible for Cisco’s Core networking equipment portfolio, covering Data Center, Cloud Networking, Wireless, Service Provider and Enterprise routing and switching, Optical, IoT, and Small Business segments.
Throughout his career, John has been an active contributor to leadership councils and advisory boards, including Cisco’s Emerging Talent Council, Contingent Labor Council, and Values Engineering Board, as well as Mercer University’s National Engineering Advisory Board. He also founded Develop@Cisco, the company’s first global designer’s conference, and served as Cisco’s Executive Champion for inclusion and diversity.
John holds a B.B.A. from Mercer University, where he was commissioned as a U.S. Army Aviation Officer upon graduation. A decorated veteran, he completed three combat deployments and numerous operational assignments. He is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Program Manager Professional, Master Lean Six Sigma practitioner, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Combined Logistics Advanced Course.
Ross Taylor
Ross Taylor, VP Software Engineering, has worked at Quanergy since January 2014. He oversees all algorithm and software development toward Quanergy’s product roadmap. Mr. Taylor has been developing LiDAR and robotics systems and software for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Quanergy, he worked primarily on NASA and DoD LiDAR programs including 3D inspection of the Space Shuttle, planetary rover navigation, and roadside change detection. In addition, he worked on robotics control problems including NASA’s Robonaut. Mr. Taylor received his Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas and his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana Tech University.

Simon Vine
Over his career, Mr. Vine played many roles, including that of a corporate entrepreneur who built many new product lines and spearheaded various IT and digitalization initiatives. In addition, he managed distressed debt projects and led in transitions and crisis management.
Mr. Vine worked at Société Générale and UBS. He was an Investment and Risk Committee member of a Luxembourg-based investment firm.
Mr. Vine holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a Ph.D.
Mr. Vine is a 9X author and a speaker on Risks, Uncertainty, and various Management Transition issues.
Alexander Turkot
Alexander Turkot, Board Member, Director, and Co-Founder, was born in 1961 in Tashkent, USSR.
He holds MSc in Electrical Engineering and PhD in Economics.
In 1990 Mr. Turkot repatriated to Israel and till 1998 worked in various IBM structures as a technical project leader and later as a senior project manager and strategic adviser in many large IT projects for various FORTUNE-500 companies over the world, such as Principal Financial Group (USA), Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Japan), AGF Insurance (France), Norwich Union Insurance (UK), TransNet (South Africa), MIGROS (Switzerland), ELVIA Insurance (Switzerland) and others.
In 1998 Mr. Turkot founded his first start-up company, specializing in various aspects of IT-consulting for large banking and insurance institutions. During next 5 years Mr. Turkot founded several Hi-Tech start-up companies, served as Board Member and Director in several IT and Telecom companies on behalf of his clients.
In 2008 he joins MySpace (at this time world No.1 social network platform). Within next 2 years Mr. Turkot serves as CEO and Managing Partner of MySpace Eastern Europe.
In 2013 Mr.Turkot founds Maxfield Capital Partners, $100M venture fund with focus on early and growth stage IT and Telco companies. Maxfield Capital Fund I has in its portfolio more than 25 companies in USA, UK, Israel, Finland, Austria – among them such industry leaders and fast growing companies as Dr.Chrono, Houstt, Finnest, 3S Money, Machinio, ViiSight etc. As of EoY’21 Fund recorded 10 successful exits.
Mr.Turkot directly participates in strategic management of investment projects in Media, IT and Telecommunication industries in USA, Israel and UK, serves as a board member in 6 companies around the world, speaks at most prominent technology conferences as TechCrunch, WebIT, DLD etc., mentoring and judging international acceleration and incubation programs in Israel, USA and UK.
