Quanergy’s M1 Edge LiDAR sensors offer precise object detection and alerting capabilities, providing smart awareness for a wide range of applications. The M1 Edge PoE’s angular resolution is industry-leading, allowing it to detect small objects with high accuracy up to tens of meters away from the sensor. This advanced technology also offers simplified wiring for a lower installation cost, up to 16 evaluation fields, and a higher number of configurable detection zones per evaluation field. Additionally, it integrates with Quanergy’s QORTEX Aware perception software, enabling customers to create up to 128 detection zones and monitor any anomalies.
Perimeter and wide-open area management are evolving fast under high pressure from new threats such as objects dropped from drones. Traditionally, standalone intrusion detection systems incur high rates of false alarms and rarely offer accurate detection of all types of intrusions. Genetec’s Security Center Restricted Security Area (RSA) Surveillance brings together different detection and tracking devices such as LiDAR under a single visualization pane. Moving targets are automatically tracked on geographical maps and intuitively displayed so that security personnel can assess and respond to threats in less time.
